Authorization to an Establishment providing Training Services

Service Description

A service that allows establishments to obtain an official Authorization to conduct training activities in first aid services or advanced life support training in accordance with the approved conditions and standards.

Requirements

1. A letter of accreditation from the accredited awarding body for the curriculum.
2. A list of the curriculums accredited by the awarding body.
3. Preparing the training room according to standards (not less than 400 square feet).
4. Modern training equipment and technologies (audio and visual Equipment’s).
5. Training mannequins and medical equipment with maintenance and infection control procedures.
6. Cardiac defibrillators and consumable first aid materials for training.

Service Fees

1. Authorization for a facility providing first aid training services: (AED 2,000 + AED 500 field examination appointment booking fee).
2. Authorization for a facility providing advanced first aid training services: (AED 4,000 + AED 500 field examination appointment booking fee).
3. Innovation fee (AED 10).
4. Knowledge fee (AED 10).

Condition

1. Accredited the curriculums approved for the training centers from the awarding body through approval of training curriculum service from the E-service (Dcas Website)
2. The report must be submitted quarterly to avoid penalties through the monthly reports service (from the list of other services on the Dcas website).

Service Delivery Steps

1. Accessing the organization's website and selecting the service.
2. Submitting the application, filling in the data, and uploading the required documents.
3. Verification of the application for approval / Reapplication in case of deficiencies for completion by the client.
4. Payment of inspection and permit fees during the stages of work procedures.
5. Issuance of the Authorization for the establishment.
