Service Description:

This service allows professionals working in the field of ambulance services to obtain an official license to practice the profession in the Emirate of Dubai.

Requirements:

  1. Personal photo.
  2. Professional accreditation letter (for trainers).
  3. Criminal record certificate for all categories.
  4. Professional experience according to the Professional Standards Guide.
  5. License card issued by the country of graduation or by the Dubai Health Authority.
  6. Certified copies of academic certificates (except for drivers).
  7. DataFlow report (except for drivers).
  8. Prometric certificate (for medics).
  9. Copy of passport with residency/visit visa.
  10. Medical malpractice insurance for paramedics.
  11. A copy detailing theoretical and practical training hours.
  12. First aid course for ambulance drivers.
  13. Valid driver's license for ambulance drivers
  14. Copy of prometric certificate.

Service Fees:

AED 150: Licensing application fee

AED 800: License issuance for Dispatchers and EMT –practical test (AED 200 / AED 1,000 Urgent)

AED 1,300: License issuance for Paramedic –practical test (AED 200 / AED 1,000 Urgent)

AED 1,800: License issuance for advanced paramedic, Air/Marine/ First air instructor and advanced life support instructor – practical test (AED 200 / AED 1,000 Urgent)

AED 10: Knowledge fee

AED 10: Innovation fee

Procedure for Customers:

Access to DCAS website and select the service.

Complete the application form and upload all required documents.

Submit the application and pay the applicable service fees.

In case of missing requirements, the applicant will be notified to complete the documents.

The service will be processed, and the professional license will be issued digitally / Electronically
